The Original Pancake House was founded in Portland, Oregon in 1953. The very first location is still in operation today. Our family’s story began in 1972 when Uncle Joe opened the doors to his first location in Hyde Park, Chicago. The Sczurek family now owns and operates 5 locations across Chicagoland and continues the family traditions and recipes that began over 50 years ago with Uncle Joe.
